7 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana (finger) will throw 60 pitches in his first minor league rehab start on Wednesday. He had his scheduled start with Double-A Chattanooga rained out, so the team pushed it back to Wednesday. Santana will move onto a 75-pitch outing May 28 at Triple-A Rochester. There could be one more rehab start after that, but the Twins have not determined whether or not Santana will need a third start. Santana does have value in some leagues, but he is not expected to return until around June.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
