2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Estevan Florial was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, per MLB.com's Bryan Hoch. The move is likely to clear a roster spot for Giancarlo Stanton (Achilles), who is expected to be activated from the injured list prior to Thursday's game at the Athletics. Florial has only had 22 plate appearances with the Yankees this season and slashed a miserable .050/.136/.050. The 24-year-old had been hitting well at Triple-A prior to his call-up, so he is still worth monitoring for fantasy managers in dynasty leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
