6 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez has been on the disabled list since early April with a thumb injury. However, on Tuesday the Reds third baseman began taking ground balls at the hot corner and gripping the bat with his left hand. Suarez has no definite timetable but has an outside chance of rejoining Cincinnati on their current road trip. Suarez was hitting .296 with two home runs and seven RBI prior to going down with the injury after hitting .260 with 26 home runs and 82 RBI in 2017. He makes for a solid third baseman in most fantasy leagues until the arrival of top prospect Nick Senzel.--Dan Fappiano
