Eugenio Suarez Blasts Two-Run Shot Thursday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in his team's 10-4 loss to the Washington Nationals on Thursday. It was an impressive homer as it came off of Washington ace Max Scherzer, accounting for the only damage off of the Cy Young winner in the game. Suarez's magical season continues as he now has a .300 average, .961 OPS, 25 homers, and 83 RBI. The young third baseman finished the 2017 season with 26 homers and 82 RBI, putting him on pace to shatter last year's marks. Fantasy owners should continue to start Suarez heading into a Friday showdown against Washington lefty Gio Gonzalez.
