3 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in a 7-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. Suarez connected for his solo shot off of Minnesota starter Kenta Maeda in the third inning. After struggling at the plate for much of the season, the veteran infielder has hit safely in seven of his last eight games while picking up three homers and five RBI. Overall, he is hitting .175 with 21 homers, 49 runs, and 58 RBI over 382 at-bats. He will face off against Minnesota lefty Charlie Barnes on Wednesday afternoon.--Matt T - RotoBaller
