Eugenio Suarez Hits Seventh Homer On Friday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 9-6 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Friday. Suarez took Colorado reliever Yancy Almonte deep in the eighth inning to pull his team within three runs of the Rockies, although that would be the last runs Cincinnati scored on the evening. Suarez is struggling in 2021, hitting just .154 with seven homers, 17 runs, and 18 RBI in 136 at-bats. He is faring a bit better of late, batting .207 with two homers over his past seven games. Suarez should remain on fantasy rosters but he's best left on the bench until he starts to heat up at the plate.
