Eugenio Suarez Homers Vs. Washington
4 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a 2-1 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. Suarez hit leadoff for Cincinnati and struck out in his other three at-bats. The veteran infielder took Nationals ace Max Scherzer deep in the sixth inning in what wound up being the game-winning run. Suarez has struggled mightily at the plate this season, hitting just .150 with 10 homers, 24 runs, and 24 RBI over 173 at-bats. He recently has been shifted back to third base with Kyle Farmer taking over the everyday shortstop role, so fantasy gamers have to hope that the position move will help Suarez focus at the plate.
