3 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez isn't starting on Thursday against the Miami Marlins and right-hander Zach Thompson. Suarez is batting .172 with a .258 on-base percentage and 23 home runs in 472 plate appearances this season. He hasn't started since Monday's contest against the Chicago Cubs. Mike Moustakas, who has seen most of the starts at third base lately, is once again starting ahead of Suarez. Moustakas is batting sixth against Thompson and is hitting .216 with a .319 on-base percentage and four home runs in 138 plate appearances.
