3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (calf) is uncertain to play in the regular-season opener against the Denver Broncos, per head coach Joe Judge. "There is some gray area on this one," said Judge. The Giants will continue to monitor the tight end throughout the week. Engram exited Sunday's preseason game versus the New England Patriots due to a calf injury. He was escorted to the locker room and did not return. The 27-year-old caught three passes on four targets for 22 yards before leaving. Tight end Kyle Rudolph (foot) is also questionable for Week 1, which would leave Kaden Smith as the starter if Engram and Rudolph are both ruled out. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation but could be without Engram for at least one week.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
