7 years agoHouston Astros catcher/designated hitter Evan Gattis has a great chance to crack the starting lineup when the team opens up a series against the Rangers. Gattis has struggled this season but has collected hits in each of his last two starts. The Astros will go up against veteran left-hander Cole Hamels and Gattis has had past success against him. In 26 career at-bats, Gattis has nine hits and three of those went over the fence. That .346 career average against Hamels should be enough to get Gattis' name penciled into the lineup for Friday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
