6 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Evan Gattis has turned on the power lately, hitting six home runs over his last 14 games and three in his last three played. In that 14-game stretch, Gattis is 14-for-43 (.325) with 16 runs batted in and is now slugging .633 in the month of May. He has begun to resemble the hitter who has four 20-plus home run seasons under his belt the past few weeks and is beginning to settle in as the everyday designated hitter. Gattis rarely takes a walk but can be a grip-it-and-rip-it source of power in deep mixed and AL-only fantasy leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
