6 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Evan Gattis will look to finish up his fantastic month of June strong Monday night against the Blue Jays. Gattis has completely turned his season around over the past few weeks, hitting eight home runs and slugging .632 over his last 76 at-bats. He has driven in 25 runs during that span and has taken his batting average from .236 at the beginning of the month up to .250. The veteran hitter has risen from the fantasy dead and now can be considered a solid bench piece in deeper leagues. Gattis and the Astros will face Blue Jays left-hander J.A. Happ on Monday, and Gattis this season is slugging .525 against lefties.--Joey C - RotoBaller
