2 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (oblique) went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and a strikeout in his minor league rehab game with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday night. Longoria landed on the injured list with a left oblique strain earlier this month, but he has gone 3-for-6 so far in two rehab contests and should be ready to return to the Giants to start the second half of the season after next week's All-Star break. When the 36-year-old veteran does return to the active big-league roster, he'll be returning to a .242/.331/.462 slash line with eight home runs, 18 RBI and 18 runs scored in his 132 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
