2 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (hamstring) is "likely" to land on the injured list, according to manager Gabe Kapler. The veteran left Saturday's contest in the fourth inning after trying to leg out a double play in what the team is calling a mild hamstring strain. Longoria was seen leaving the clubhouse without much of a limp, so stay tuned for an official move by the Giants on Sunday. Kapler also stated that Tommy La Stella (illness) could cut his minor league rehab assignment short and take Longoria's spot on the active roster, if necessary.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
