3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (side) is likely going to be sidelined for a few games. An MRI revealed a mild intercostal strain, which means Longoria could be out until possibly the weekend. The hope is that San Francisco can rest him for a few days and avoid a trip to the 10-day injured list. Fantasy managers should hold onto Longo for the moment since he has been on fire with the bat lately. Mauricio Dubon will cover third base against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.
