3 years agoSan Francisco Giants' third baseman Evan Longoria (hand) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right-hand contusion. He was placed on the COVID IL after experiencing side effects from the vaccine. The 35-year-old has been sidelined since last Tuesday and has appeared in only five games since being activated from the injured list on August 14. Longoria is slashing .289/.382/.526 with 10 home runs and 31 RBI over 55 games in 2021. Fantasy managers in deep-league formats should continue to stash the veteran third baseman.
