2 years agoSan Francisco Giants' third baseman Evan Longoria (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain. The 36-year-old most likely picked up the injury in Tuesday's loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is expected to be sidelined through the All-Star break. Longoria is slashing .242/.331/.462 with eight home runs, 18 RBI, and 18 runs scored across 44 games in 2022. The Giants called up catcher Joey Bart in a corresponding move. Bart is a speculative add in most league formats as he should see plenty of at-bats with Curt Casali and Longoria sidelined. The former top prospect slashed .156/.296/.300 with four homers and seven RBI through 108 plate appearances with the Giants in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
