3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (side) is considered day-to-day after being removed as a precaution from Monday's game against the Angels with side discomfort. He did some damage before being removed, going 2-for-2 with a single and a two-run home run. The veteran is due to undergo an MRI exam and will likely sit out of Tuesday's game to get an extra day of rest with Wednesday's off-day. It would be a big blow to the Giants and fantasy managers if Longo was to miss time, as he has been on fire lately and is slashing .274/.360/.510 on the season with nine HR and 29 RBI.
