3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday with a left shoulder sprain. The veteran was anticipated to return from the IL at the end of July, but that will no longer be the case. This comes as a blow to both the Giants and fantasy managers, as Longo has slashed .280/.376/.516 with nine home runs and 30 RBI on the season.
