3 years agoCincinnati Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson (groin) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. You know it's the regular season finale when teams are resting their kickers. The Bengals elevated Elliott Fry from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, which was an early sign that McPherson would get Week 18 off to rest up for the playoffs. McPherson will come one field goal shy of setting the team's single-season record. The 22-year-old enters Week 18 action as the No. 5 kicker in fantasy by making 28 of his 33 field-goal attempts and 46 of his 48 extra points in 16 games. With the Bengals trotting out mostly backups on offense to close out the regular season, Fry won't be an attractive kicking option in place of McPherson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
