Evan White Drives In Two
4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White drove in two runs with a sharp single up the middle off San Francisco Giants starter Johnny Cueto to give the Mariners the lead Friday. It was White's only hit of the game, as he went 1-for-4. The hit came in the bottom of the third inning, and left the bat with an exit velocity of 104.2 MPH. If there's one positive thing White is known for, it's elite exit velocity, and he's already delivering on that promise to start the season. White is also unfortunately known for his dismal strikeout rate, but through nine at-bats this season, White has only been set down on strikes twice. If he can maintain a 22 percent rate, his floor as a fantasy asset would rise significantly.
