4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White left Game 1 of Thursday’s doubleheader early with right shoulder discomfort. It’s a shame as White has been really coming on lately and proving why the Mariners guaranteed him $24 million without a big league game under his belt this offseason. Jose Marmolejos replaced White and homered in his first at-bat. With Dan Vogelbach recently cut loose, Marmolejos is a likely candidate to see some more at-bats should White miss some time.
