Evan White Hits His First Homer
4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White hit his first home run of the season Friday, off Astros reliever Blake Taylor, in the bottom of the eighth inning. The home run tied the game, putting Seattle in position for an eventual walk-off win. It was an authoritative blast, coming off the bat at 110.7 MPH and traveling 416 feet into the Astros bullpen. For the game, White was 2-for-4 with two RBI while also striking out twice. White has always hit the ball hard, but the strikeouts continue to be troubling. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the swings and misses before they add or activate White to their lineups.
