Evan White Homers and Drives In Three
4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White finally had a big day at the plate Saturday. White went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double, driving in three total runs. His two-run shot came in the top of the second inning off Rangers starter Kohei Arihara, and was White's second big fly of the year. Even after this big game, White still only has a .462 OPS over 87 at-bats. He was recently dropped to eighth in the lineup, leaving him considerably less opportunity for counting stats than when he was batting fourth or fifth. White should stay on fantasy waiver wires.
