4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White (quad) remains out of the lineup on Saturday against the Twins while recovering from a quad injury, according to Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. White exited Wednesday's game after experiencing tightness in his left quad while beating out an RBI fielder's choice. Kramer reports that White was running on the field during pregame workouts Saturday, so it's a sign that White may be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. When he returns, he'll look to bounce back from a slow start as he is hitting 3-for-23 with two doubles and three RBI through six games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
