Evan White Sitting Thursday After Bruising Knee
4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White departed Wednesday’s contest against the Dodgers due to a knee bruise, which will now keep him out of the starting nine Thursday. Austin Nola will slide over to first base in White’s place, but will be faced with facing left-hander Clayton Kershaw. It has been a rough acclimation process to Major League pitching for White, who has hit just .133/.207/.313 through his first 25 contests. Seattle will undoubtedly continue to run White, a stellar defensive first baseman, out in the club’s daily lineup as soon as he’s healthy, but for now, he isn’t a fantasy asset.
