4 years agoSan Jose Sharks left wing Evander Kane filed for bankruptcy on Monday, and he may have to sit out the entire 2021 season. He is $26.8 million in debt and opting out because of COVID-19 concerns would prevent the debtor from receiving his salary. It is an unfortunate situation for the 29-year-old and really jeopardizes his fantasy value. Kane is normally a top-20 player in banger-league formats and still has value as a perennial 20-goal scorer in standard leagues. Fantasy managers can try to scoop Kane up in the later rounds in the hopes he returns, but they should not invest any high-round picks in him.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
