6 years agoMinnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen is unlikely to play this Thursday night against the Rams as he battles a serious mental-health related issue. He is currently undergoing evaluation at a local hospital, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. There is no timetable for Griffen to be back with the team, so this is a concerning issue for their defense. Griffen signed a four-year, $58 million contract extension with the team last year.
