5 years agoPittsburgh Penguins forwards Evgeni Malkin and Jake Guentzel were unplayable for the Ottawa Senators on Monday when they led the team to a 5-2 victory by combining for six points. Malkin had two goals and one assist, while Guentzel backed him up with one goal and two assists. Bryan Rust capped off the first line's big night with two helpers. Malkin has now produced three-point performances in back-to-back outings and he's riding a nine-game point streak. Guentzel, who left Monday's game with an injury, has been on a good run as well by averaging 1.14 points per game in December.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
