3 years agoWashington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov (illness) and defenseman Dmitry Orlov (lower body) are both considered questionable for Thursday's mouth-watering matchup against Toronto. Orlov has already missed a game with a lower-body injury, while Kuznetsov is battling a non-COVID illness and might not be game-ready. Neither player was at the morning skate. Trevor van Riemsdyk replaced Orlov on the second defensive pairing in Tuesday's 9-2 win over Philadelphia. Kuznetsov's absence might mean that Lars Eller will join the top six. The Danish center has just posted back-to-back multi-point games and will find himself in a nice spot to continue the streak if he indeed moves up in the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
