4 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has arguably a higher outlook heading into 2020 than he has had at any point throughout his tenure in the league thus far. Though not everyone is sold on the idea of a Barkley bounce-back, experts at ESPN are predicting a favorable season from the 23-year-old, with new offensive coordinator Jason Garrett playing an integral part of his potential success. Barkley took a slight step in many statistical categories in 2019, finishing the year 1,003 yards and six touchdowns off of 217 attempts. He also added 52 catches for 438 yards and two additional scores. While Garrett's presence may cause the third-year man to see a decrease in targets out of the backfield, he he may supplement that decline with more rushing attempts and yardage throughout the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
