6 years agoDetroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) and tight end Michael Roberts (knee) were ruled out for Week 5 against the Packers. Ansah was limited in practice all week, while Roberts didn't practice at all. Ansah appears close to a return, but he will miss his fourth straight game of the year. He's the team's best hope for a consistent pass rush, but Ansah just hasn't been able to stay healthy in his career. His absence is good news for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
