2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who suffered a partially torn PCL in his knee just four weeks into last season, played through the pain through the rest of the year and the playoffs. As a result, he put up numbers that weren't up to his usual standard, and he's motivated to prove he has more in the tank in 2022. Elliott finished with the seventh-most rushing yards in the league and was tied for seventh in the NFL in rushing touchdowns. The standards are high for the former first-rounder who has rushed for over 900 yards in all six of his seasons and over 1,300 yards in three of them. After months of rehab, Elliott looks fully healed, and head coach Mike McCarthy claims that Elliott clocked 22 mph in a recent practice. Still, we could see more of a shared workload between Elliott and Tony Pollard in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
