Ezekiel Elliott Played Through Torn PCL This Year
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) said that he partially tore his PCL this year. Elliott said he won't need offseason surgery on his knee, but it's something that he had to work through during the year. "It's my job," Elliott said. The 26-year-old will be able to rest up after the Cowboys were eliminated by the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card game on Sunday. Zeke went over 1,000 rushing yards for the fourth time in his six seasons this year, but backup Tony Pollard was more efficient and more explosive most of the time. Give him credit for not missing a single game, but Elliott certainly looked compromised at times this season. He could be more productive if he's in better health in 2022, but Pollard will be back and will continue to pose a threat to Elliott's fantasy upside.
