7 years agoAtlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said the team is close to agreeing to a contract extension with franchise quarterback Matt Ryan. Dimitroff said "it's not a complicated process" and that "I think we're close." This comes as a surprise to no one. Ryan has reached the 4,000-yard passing mark in every season since 2011 and remains one of the best all-around passers in the NFL. In his second year in offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian's offense, Ryan should be better in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
