3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons selected Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder with the 74th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He has a solid arm and isn't the most accurate passer. The 22-year-old does boast good speed and athleticism. The 22-year-old was just the second quarterback taken in the 2022 NFL Draft behind Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett. Ridder threw for 3,334 yards and a 30:8 TD: INT ratio while rushing for 355 yards on 110 attempts and six scores over 14 games in 2021. Ridder will get the chance to start in Atlanta, with Marcus Mariota being the rookie QB's main competition in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
