2 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons signed second-round defensive end Arnold Ebiketie to a rookie deal on Wednesday that is estimated to have a total value of $9.69 million while carrying a salary cap hit of $1.76 million in 2022. The Falcons traded their 43rd and 114th overall picks to the New York Giants to move up to No. 38 overall to take Ebiketie. He was the first of two edge rushers that Atlanta took in this year's draft in order to beef up a position of need, with Dante Fowler, Steven Means and Brandon Copeland no longer on the team. Ebiketie is expected to play a key rotational pass-rushing role for the Falcons in his rookie year, and he could eventually become a starter if he plays well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
