Falcons Trade For Defensive End Charles Harris
5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons struck a trade with the Miami Dolphins and received defensive end Charles Harris for a seventh-round pick, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. It was no surprise the Falcons were looking to upgrade their defense this offseason after finishing last season allowing 355.8 yards per game. Therefore, the team invested in a defensive tackle, safety, linebacker, and cornerback during the draft. Harris was a first-round pick in 2017 and looks to jumpstart his career in Atlanta as he didn't have a great tenure in Miami. He brings 61 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one recovered fumble to the Falcons. Still only 25-years-old, the DE could bring great value to the Falcons Defense, but it depends on how big of a role he receives.
