2 years agoBaltimore Orioles reliever Felix Bautista pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday to close out his team's 3-0 win over the Guardians. Despite walking the leadoff man, he was able to strike out a pair before getting Andres Gimenez to groundout to end the game and collect his 11th save of the season. Bautista has eight saves since the trade deadline and has allowed just one run over his last 15 1/3 innings pitched to give him a superb 1.53 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with 78 K through 59 IP. Managers who scooped up his arm off waivers appear to have a legitimate lockdown closer for the duration of the 2022 campaign.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
