6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Felix Hernandez looked close to his former self in Saturday's loss versus the Houston Astros. He scattered six hits and a walk over six frames while striking out five on the night. Hernandez gave up a solo homer to Robinson Chirinos and the red-hot Jose Altuve but was otherwise sharp in his third start of the season. The veteran had a one-inning start against the Royals in which he left with a virus, but otherwise Hernandez looked good in his season debut against the Angels, who he'll take on next week in Anaheim. After several disappointing seasons, the 33-year-old won't hold much mixed league value this year, but he will be a decent streaming option throughout various parts of this campaign, including in his upcoming matchup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
