7 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez (forearm) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Friday and could pitch in a minor league game next week. Hernandez will need to make at least several starts in camp before the team deems him ready to start during the first series of the regular season, but it's possible. The veteran right-hander missed a large chunk of time due to injury in 2017 for the first time in his career and is no longer a fantasy ace.
