7 years agoMinnesota Twins pitching prospect Fernando Romero will be recalled from Triple-A and make his MLB debut on Wednesday against the Blue Jays. Romero is considered the best pitcher and second best prospect in the Twins' system. He has shined during his time in the minor leagues, pitching to a 23-17 record with a 2.83 ERA and a 314/102 K/BB ratio. Romero will push Phil Hughes to the bullpen. He should be used as a streamer for now, but Romero has the potential to be a guy you must start every time he's out there.--Dan Fappiano
