Fernando Tatis Jr. Back Sunday, Playing Right Field
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) will be activated on Sunday and in the starting lineup, playing right field. He has been on the injured list since July 31. The move to the outfield is expected to keep Tatis Jr. healthy for the remainder of the year and keep Adam Frazier and Jake Cronenworth in the starting lineup. He has been an MVP-caliber player all season, slashing .290/.373/.647 with 31 HRs, 70 RBI, 79 runs, and 23 SBs. It's good news for fantasy managers, as he should continue being the impact player he was prior to the injury.
