Fernando Tatis Jr. Clears Sacks With Three-Bagger
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI in Monday’s victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks. With the bases loaded in the fourth inning, Tatis gapped a laser line drive to clear the troops with a three-bagger and iced the 6-2 victory. The 21-year-old is off to a solid start, slashing .333/.444/.600 with three extra-base hits, six runs-plus-RBI and a steal through four contests. Tatis will remain a lock in fantasy lineups as the Padres travel to face the San Francisco Giants starting Tuesday. He has only three hits in 15 career plate appearances at Oracle Park but two have left the yard.
