Fernando Tatis Jr. Clobbers 440-Foot Homer
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-3 with a walk, double, two runs scored and two-run homer Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics. El Niño's highlight of the night came in the third frame on a mammoth 440-foot blast off A's starter James Kaprielian, his 31st of the season. Tatis continues his MVP-caliber campaign, slashing .293/.376/.658 with 23 steals and 147 runs-plus-RBI to supplement the dingers over 354 plate appearances. With a few days left in July, Tatis is looking like a fantasy league-winner for those that nabbed him as a top-3 player this season.
