3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the injured list over the weekend while the team is visiting the Arizona Diamondbacks, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Wednesday. Tatis Jr. has been sidelined since July 31 with left shoulder inflammation and has slowly been ramping up activities over the last week. Fantasy managers should keep an eye out for the 22-year-old's return to the meat of San Diego's lineup, especially since he was slashing .316/.381/737 with two home runs, four RBI, and three runs scored on six hits in the seven games he played in prior to injury.--Chelena Goldman
