4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. is expected to return to the team on Wednesday, according to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Acee adds that the team feels confident about his impending return because it has been 10 days since his last positive COVID-19 test and he is currently asymptomatic. Tuesday night will mark the eighth straight game that he has missed, as he has appeared in 26 games this year due to COVID-19 and a shoulder subluxation. His numbers have taken a slight dip at the plate from 2020, as he's slashing .240/.315/.552 with nine home runs, seven steals, 14 RBI and 23 runs scored. Despite the dip, he's still one of the top shortstops in fantasy and should be placed back into all lineups when he is activated. Ha-Seong Kim has been filling in at the 6, but he'll go back to more of a utility role when Tatis is back.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
