Fernando Tatis Jr. Expects To Swing in Three Weeks
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) expects to swing a bat in around three weeks, and we will know more then about when he might return. Tatis said he already feels ahead of schedule. "I know my body," Tatis said. The 23-year-old superstar won't make his season debut until sometime in June after having surgery to fix a fractured left wrist in mid-March, so fantasy managers will have to remain patient. Until he's back, the Padres will continue to mix and match at shortstop with Ha-Seong Kim and top prospect CJ Abrams. Because of Abrams' elite speed, he has a bit more fantasy appeal with Tatis sidelined.
