Fernando Tatis Jr. Goes Hitless In Second Rehab Game
2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) went 0-for-3 while playing shortstop and batting leadoff for Double-A San Antonio on Sunday in his second minor league rehab game. He also committed a fielding error. Tatis has gone hitless in his first two rehab games on the farm, but the Padres think there's a realistic chance that he'll return in mid-August to make his 2022 season debut. The 23-year-old superstar fractured his left wrist in a motorcycle accident in the offseason and hasn't played yet this year. When he returns, he can be a difference-maker for fantasy managers down the stretch.
