3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) hit on the field on Monday for the first time since being placed on the 10-day injured list, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. Tatis Jr. has been sidelined since July 31 after he made an awkward slide into third base that resulted in left shoulder inflammation. Fantasy managers should be ecstatic the 22-year-old slugger is recovering so smoothly and should be on the lookout for when he and his .737 slugging percentage return to San Diego's lineup.--Chelena Goldman
